I graduated with a B.S. in education from Indiana State University. I am the oldest of four kids, followed by my sister, Erin, my brother, R.J., and my other sister, Payton. We also have a bischon named Murphy.

 

Unlike other aspiring educators, teaching was not my first choice when applying for college; however I entered school undeclared. I found my calling in September 2012 shortly after accepting a job as a daycare worker in the elementary schools throughout Terre Haute and worked with a large number of kids. I am student teaching in January 2016, and I would like to invite you to follow my journey as I finish my practices and take bigger steps when I have my own classroom someday.

 

A big thank you to my family, my longtime boyfriend, Nic, and friends from school or church who have inspired me to finish the current chapter in my life and start a new one.
